Who May Apply?
The following requirements must be fulfilled by qualified applicants:
- Be a registered for-profit firm with no more than 10 employees and formally listed with PACRA for a minimum of three months
- The business must be based in Zambia and actively operating inside the country
- The company must have less than $100,000 in annual revenue and less than $500,000 in equity capital.
- There must be a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) with proven market validation (e.g., partnerships, sales, or users).
- The venture must have at least one woman with equal or majority ownership.
- One founder needs to be employed in Zambia full-time.
- The founders have to be between the ages of 18 and 35.
- The startup needs to solve at least one of the main difficulty areas and be tech-driven or tech-enabled.
